Who We Are

A people obsessed with pleasing the heart of God.

Why Salt?

In the Bible, salt is a symbol of God’s faithful covenant—that He Himself is our portion. In a world chasing more, we believe what we need most is not more stuff, but more of Him.

19c [This] is a permanent covenant of salt before the Lord for you as well as your offspring.”

20 The Lord told Aaron, “You will not have an inheritance in their land. There will be no portion among them for you, because I am your portion and your inheritance among the Israelites.

Numbers 18:19-20

What is our Mission?

We exist to pursue God's presence and build His kingdom through building the local church.

What are our Values?

Host His Presence

The Lord will always be the guest of honor. Nothing surpasses this priority.

Stay Humble and Let God Elevate

We don’t seek our own elevation or recognition. We seek God’s glory and let him take care of the rest.

Expect the Supernatural

We seek to foster an environment where the Holy Spirit is active in power. Because Jesus is living and active we expect to see him move supernaturally on a regular basis.

Reach the One

God’s heart is for the broken, hurting, and far from Him, and we want our hearts to reflect that. Our mission is to find the lost, overlooked, and vulnerable and welcome them into God’s family. God’s Kingdom is bigger than Salt Church, and we commit ourselves to its expansion, even at a cost. As we seek first His Kingdom and righteousness, we trust Him to provide all the rest.

Bring Our Best

We don’t always control our resources, but we always control our effort. We recognize that our effort is a part of our living sacrifices to God and work accordingly to bring our best, even in small details.

Honor Well

In a culture that knows nothing of honor, we want to be known as a church that shows honor well, both to God and to people.

Be Unreasonably Generous

We will build our church on unreasonable giving. We won’t let money place limitations on our generosity or our obedience to God’s instructions. Because God can multiply resources effortlessly, we will choose a lifestyle of generous faith.
